At Kahu, our journey began beneath the waves. As passionate scuba divers, we’ve spent countless hours exploring the breathtaking beauty of our oceans. Having spent a lot of time on the boat we realized the need for a lightweight, quick dry towel —we were tired of carrying around the heavy and bulky ones on our trips. Driven by this need, we set out to create something truly special: a versatile, beautifully designed, marine wonders-inspired poncho, one that could serve not just as a dry towel, but
also as a cover-up during surface intervals and a convenient way to change clothes on the go. With sustainability top of mind, our ponchos are made from suede microfiber, crafted from recycled plastic bottles and minimized packaging materials. We wanted to design a product that could be functional, comfortable, and, above all, eco-friendly. A product that’s not just great for ocean lovers, but great for the planet too.
